FIRST ANNUAL GALION MOOSE AUTO SHOW A GREAT SUCCESS
YOU COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A MORE PERFECT DAY THAN SATURDAY JULY 10th.
THE HUMIDITY HAD FINALLY BURNED OFF WHICH MADE FOR PERFECT CONDITIONS TO KICK OFF THE 1st ANNUAL GALION MOOSE 303 CAR SHOW. THE VOLUNTEERS STARTED SHOWING AROUND 8am, ALL ANXIOUS TO GET THINGS SET UP AND THE SHOW ON THE ROAD. MANY WERE A LITTLE NERVOUS AS TO HOW MANY ENTRIES THERE WOULD BE SINCE IT SEEMS TO BE CUSTOM THAT NO PRE REGISTRATIONS EVER HAPPEN AT THESE TYPES OF EVENTS AND THE FACT THAT THERE WERE 4 OTHER SHOWS IN THE AREA ALL AT THE SAME TIME,BUT, WE WERE READY....THE GRILLS WERE FIRED UP..BEER AND POP ALL ICED DOWN..MUSIC FILLED THE AIR AND THEN AROUND 9am YOU COULD HEAR THE DISTANT RUMBLING OF EXHAUST PIPES COMING DOWN THE ALLEY. AT FIRST JUST A FEW RUMBLED IN AND THEN IT SEEMED LIKE THE GATES OPENED UP AND HERE THEY COME..IN ALL 42 ENTRIES!
I WANT TO THANK THE ENTIRE CREW ON THE CAR SHOW COMMITTEE FOR ALL OF THEIR HARD WORD AS WELL AS THE VOLUNTEERS WHO SHOWED UP THAT MORNING TO ASSURE EVERYTHING WENT OFF WITHOUT A HITCH. JOB WELL DONE AND CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 2nd ANNUAL!!

That's $500,000 we then WON'T need to ask from the men and women of the Moose to help operate Mooseheart's school this year!
